How we collect and verify Paraguayan market data
Invertipy collects the issues published by the Asunción Stock Exchange every day and presents them in a comparable catalogue. We currently track 220 active instruments. We do not originate data: we compile it, normalise it and display it with its source.
Catalogue last updated on 01 September 2026.
Where the data comes from
The primary source is the new issues section of the Asunción Stock Exchange (BVA). That is where the ISIN, issuer, instrument type, currency, nominal annual rate, term, issue and maturity dates, issue size and credit rating come from.
Every instrument in the catalogue links to its original BVA listing, so you can verify any figure at the source without relying on us.
How often it updates
The process is generally run once a day before the market opens. Each page shows the last-updated date for the instrument you are viewing.
Instruments whose maturity date has passed are marked inactive and leave the catalogue.
What we validate before publishing
- Out-of-range rates. A nominal annual rate above 25% is held for review and is neither published nor used to simulate returns. The real maximum observed in the Paraguayan market sits well below that threshold, so a higher figure is almost always a parsing error rather than an opportunity.
- Issuer names. The same issuer can be spelled several ways across listings (with and without accents, with or without S.A. or S.R.L.). We normalise them before grouping so one company is not counted twice.
- Incomplete fields. If an instrument has no rate or rating, the field is shown empty rather than filled with an estimate.
What we do not do with the data
- We do not compute effective yields or IRR. The rate we publish is the nominal annual rate, exactly as the source states it.
- We do not adjust, round or correct BVA figures on our own initiative.
- We do not estimate minimum investment amounts: each broker sets those and we have not confirmed them.
- We do not opine on an issuer's credit quality. The rating shown is a rating agency's, quoted as-is.
Limitations worth knowing
Data may lag the BVA by up to 24 hours, and an issue's terms can change between two runs. Always confirm current terms with a licensed broker before trading.
The catalogue covers what the BVA publishes in its issues section. It does not include the secondary market or transactions outside that listing.
How to report an error
If you find a figure that does not match the official listing, write to info@invertipy.com with the instrument's ISIN. We correct it and record the change.
